The walk that became a quest took us from the center of Charlottesville past a strip mall and a renovated Art Deco-era building to the low-slung dark façade housing Random Row Brewing Co.
The James River Brewery was a local joint my cousin had spotted before, but hadn’t yet tried, so we spent a lovely Sunday afternoon in early March sampling a few of its award-winning beers.
