We enjoyed our fair share of brews on this trip, and while I would have loved to have stopped at several more breweries (like New Glarus, definitely on my bucket list), we had to satisfy ourselves mostly with those shared by friends around the campground amongst the airplanes. Here’s a sampler of my old favorites plus some new friends.

-
An icy Spotted Cow from New Glarus
-
-
A cold West Main Wheat Ale from Big Grove in Iowa City hits the spot
-
-
Oshkosh’s own Fox River Brewing made one of my faves, the Blu Bobber
-
-
Surly’s lighter side, the Hell Lager
-
-
A refreshing Moon Man from New Glarus, and a classic Cessna 195
-
-
The Hopalicious from Ale Asylum in Madison, Wisconsin
-
-
Confluence’s Des Moines IPA from, you guessed it, Des Moines, Iowa

Not from the Midwest, but a lovely sour, Under Currants, from Firestone Walker

The Lakefront Happy Glamper from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
